IE2 headphones reproduce music with more range and realism than most typical earbuds. A modified port design, in concert with our proprietary TriPort® acoustic headphone structure results in a richer audio performance, with more natural-sounding lows. IE2 headphones also deliver more clarity, even at louder volume levels, and an overall presence you'd expect from much larger headphones.

Proprietary StayHear™ silicone tips offer greater in-ear stability during exercise and other active sports. Advanced materials and design allow the tips to nestle inside the bowl of the ear while also naturally conforming to the ear's upper ridge. The tips come in three sizes to fit listeners comfortably for hours on end.
StayHear tips also are designed to remain more securely on the headphone itself. Overall, they provide a better on-the-go listening experience.

How comfortable are Bose® IE2 audio headphones?
Bose IE2 audio headphones were designed for a comfortable fit, but also a stable one. Our redesigned StayHear™ tips provide a more stable in-ear fit, ideal for extended wear. The material and shape of the ear tips were specifically selected, designed and tested for comfort and stability. The tips come in S, M and L sizes so you can choose what fits best. The original-style tips also are included in S, M and L for customers who prefer this fit.

How do the StayHear™ tips provide more stability than the original-style tips?
The StayHear™ tips have a new shape with an extended flexible wing that sits in the upper ridge of your ear. The tips use the ridge of your ear for support and provide significantly improved stability, while the soft silicone material and rounded profile delivers a comfortable fit for long-term wear.

Can I use Bose® IE2 audio headphones with my portable or home audio equipment?
Yes. Bose IE2 audio headphones can be used to listen to your favorite audio sources. These include CD players, DVD players, digital music players and personal computers. As most of these portable players use a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bose IE2 audio headphones can be used without an adapter.

Are these headphones noise cancelling?
No. While the ear tips may physically block some noise, the headphones aren't designed for this purpose, and they don't include active noise cancelling technology.
