Using Bose AR

Certain QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II have been manufactured with Bose AR technology. To identify whether your headphones have this feature, connect them to the Bose Connect app (for iPhone and iPad users only). You will see the “Bose AR” feature icon whenever it detects that a Bose AR product is paired. Additionally, QC35 II devices with serial numbers that end in “AZ” are Bose AR enabled.

Tapping the Bose AR icon will bring you to the Bose AR app showcase. This will feature several partner mobile apps across different categories including travel, entertainment and activity. More partner app experiences will continue to be developed and added to the Bose AR showcase throughout the coming year. Availability of partner apps may vary by region and some may be translated into English only. To begin with, the Bose AR showcase and feature tutorials will be translated into English only. Android apps are still in development.

The Bose Connect app must be updated to version 8.0 or later and some headphones may require a software update to experience this new feature. Product updates can be done through the Connect app or at btu.bose.com.
