At Bose, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) are integral to our sustainability mission. We embrace diverse communities and the unique voices we serve, and we recognize that society’s expectations for social, environmental, and economic equity will only continue to grow. By implementing a global diversity council, expanding diversity initiatives, and implementing unconscious bias training, we are actively working to advance our diversity and inclusion practices — enabling our employees to be who they are and better our communities, together.
Advocating for racial equity
As part of our internal Black History Month celebration, we were thrilled to have two music scholars — Kyle Brooks, PhD. from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and Deborah Smith Pollard, Ph.D. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn — lead us in a conversation about the important role Black protest music plays in uniting all who care about racial equity. Bose continues to support efforts that celebrate Black history, amplify Black voices, and support the pursuit of racial justice.
Our people are the heart and soul of everything we do, driving the innovation, creativity, and excellence that have made Bose what it is today. Through training and development programs and employee resource organizations, Bose enriches the employee experience and advocates for our people’s well-being. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate joy, inclusivity, empathy, and organization-wide engagement.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
We embrace the unique communities and voices we serve, and recognize that society’s expectations for social, environmental, and economic equity only continue to grow. By improving our ESG performance, we’ll further that change and create value for our people, our business, and society at large.
