For best sound quality, the Bose Bass Module 700 should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cord. The bass module should not be placed on a shelf or table. For more bass, the bass module should be placed closer to walls and corners. For less bass, the bass module should be pulled away from walls and corners.

Get The 700 rears and complete your system
Perfect addition to the ultra sound bar & bass 700 module. I have seen reviews that say the rear surround speakers are not necessary with the ultra sound bar however after having the ultra sound bar for 2 weeks before ordering the 700 rear speakers, I will emphatically dispute that claim. The 700 rear speakers complete the package and the listener is only getting half the effect without them. They pair easily and work seamlessly with the Bose app.

This is my second set purchased!
It was unfortunate that Bose would not allow me to purchase and hold the shipping for a week during the holidays. They expressed that the order could not be held up and had to go out right away. That was unfortunate for me now I have to wait until their next holiday for a reduced price.

Surround 700 speakers
Speakers themselves and the sound produced is exceptional. I think the very tiny screw that attaches the speaker to the base is poorly engineered. It needs to be a larger diameter to secure the speaker, as it is designed it is very weak. I have been a loyal Bose customer for 46 years and their technology is the very best.

I purchased the Bose Bass Module do compliment our Bose Ultra Smart Soundbar. It makes a nice addition. It adds a very deep bass to our surround sound system. It's a necessary addition I think.
The build quality is impressive as well as the sound. Aesthetically it matches the sound bar perfectly.
We were very pleased with the ordering process from Boss.com. The module arrived well packed. We got it faster than we were anticipating.
We are satisfied so far with the product and would recommend to others who are looking for a quality product.

Perfect for apartments and condos with neighbors
The quality of the clarity of voices is why I decided to try the bose ultra with AI tech . Living in a condo the big issue I had with other soundbars is when you turn the volume up enough to hear the voices then with its feels and sounds like and explosion when other sounds play bothering my neighbors even expensive soubdbars have this issue. But with the bose ultra I finally can enjoy the quality sound AND understand the voices with bowing my neighbors out.

Great sound. Can get very loud. Also purchased the 700 subwoofer - can feel the bass. Bought the white- wish the front plate was also white, not gray, this is the only part you see. Nice touch would make the wires white. Would definitely recommend the system.
