Amazing speaker! Great sound in a compact package!
I purchased this unit about a month ago. I currently have the L1Pro32 system with (2) Sub2 base speakers. Many of the venues that I DJ at are smaller and I could never even turn one of the Sub2 speakers barely past the midpoint. With the option of the smaller Sub1 speaker, I figured that it would be powerful enough to handle most of my smaller venues.
I was expecting the bass to be a little underpowered, given what I have with the SUB2 speakers. I could not be more incorrect! The SUB1 speaker puts out plenty of nice, clear bass and is more compact than the SUB2 speaker. It is also lighter, which makes it easier to handle. This purchase was a win-win! While I will still use my SUB2 speaker(s) for large gigs, this SUB1 speaker is plenty enough for the 100-150 people venues that I regularly DJ at. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!
I have dozens of Bose item in my collection. As with all of them I have been thrilled with every purchase!

Nice Sub
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it right away at my friends son’s graduation party. It was an outdoor party and I used the sub 1 with my two s1 pros. It did pretty well..seemed like it would start clipping if you go a little pass the half way mark. I still think it could have a little more low end tho. All in all tho.. I like it.
