Bose Smart Soundbar 300 - Refurbished

4.1 out of 5 Customer Rating
What's a Refurbished Product?
A refurbished product is one that’s been returned to Bose, for any reason. It’s then thoroughly inspected, tested, and serviced to meet strict Bose sound quality standards — the same as a new product. Appearance is closely examined; products occasionally have minor, nearly imperceptible blemishes. All refurbished products have the same warranty as new products and are available only from Bose. Quantities are limited.
Made for every day, and everyone. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 delivers spacious sound, clear dialogue, and rich bass for your movies, music, and games. The acoustic architecture is specially designed to keep this soundbar sleek and elegant. With built-in voice assistants and exclusive Bose Voice4Video technology, what typically takes several steps can now be done with one simple voice command. It's fast, simple, and easy enough for everyone to enjoy.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 comes with the one-piece soundbar, basic IR remote control, optical cable, and power cord. The remote control allows you to control basic functions (volume, Bluetooth connections, play/pause, Dialogue Mode etc.) of the soundbar and music.

Bose Voice4Video technology gives you more control of our soundbars using just your voice. In addition to controlling your soundbar, you can control your TV and your external cable or satellite box. This lets you turn on your TV and jump to your favourite station all with one simple ask of Alexa.

SimpleSync is Bose proprietary technology that allows you to pair a Bose smart speaker or soundbar to a Bose SoundLink Speaker, S1 Pro Speaker, or wireless headphones for a synchronized audio experience. And, you can pair a Bose smart soundbar with select Bose headphones for synchronized sound with separate volume levels — which means you can lower or mute your soundbar while keeping your headphones loud. See the full list of compatible products.

Yes. The optional Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket lets you mount your soundbar to the wall.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 comes with a basic IR remote control. Line-of-sight is required between the remote and the soundbar.

Yes. They can all be controlled by third-party remote controls that include the set of Bose IR codes.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 uses a single connection to your TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI™ cable (sold separately).

No. However, using Bose SimpleSync technology, you can wirelessly pair the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 with the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 for synchronized sound with separate volume levels — which means you can lower or mute your soundbar while keeping your headphones loud. This connection is restricted to one soundbar and one pair of headphones at one time.

Yes. The soundbars use the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard.

Yes. Bluetooth technology allows you to stream audio from any source (like YouTube) directly to the soundbar. And when your friends visit, they can simply connect via Bluetooth and easily stream their content, too.

Yes. Using Alexa only, you can directly call Bose smart products, Amazon Echo products, and anyone in your contacts list. Simply say, “Alexa, call Mom,” to initiate a call. Or say “Alexa, answer,” to accept an incoming call. You do not need your phone to make or take a call, and it’s free of charge. However, when calling products, both parties are required to have this feature set up in order to use and be on Wi-Fi. Currently, Amazon Alexa works with QC35 headphones II, Headphones 700, Home Speaker 300, Smart Speaker 500, Portable Smart Speaker, Smart Soundbar 300, Soundbar 500, Smart Soundbar 600, Smart Soundbar 700, and Smart Soundbar 900.

Yes. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 can play in synchronized multi-room groups with additional Bose smart speakers and soundbars.

If you want to add deeper bass to your soundbar, you can add on the optional wireless Bose Bass Module 700 or Bass Module 500 If you want to have a more immersive surround sound experience, you can add the optional wireless Bose Surround Speakers 700 or Bose Surround Speakers. Add a bass module and surround speakers if you want the full 5.1 experience.

Yes. If you desire even more bass, you can wirelessly connect two bass modules to the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 But you can only connect two of the same bass modules. In other words, you must connect two Bose Bass Module 700 units or Bose Bass Module 500 units to a single soundbar. You cannot connect one Bose Bass Module 700 and one Bose Bass Module 500 to a single soundbar.

The optional accessory speakers and bass modules are paired via the Bose Music app during the initial product setup. You will be prompted to add your accessory speakers after you download the Bose Music app and start the setup process. If you did not add a bass module or speakers during the initial setup process (or if you purchase them later), you can go into the settings menu for your soundbar in the Bose Music app and add them at any time.

Yes. The Bose Surround Speakers connect wirelessly to the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 — so no wires are required from the front of the room to the rear. But the Bose Surround Speakers do require electrical power to power the wireless receiver and there is speaker wire connecting the wireless receiver to the speaker itself.

No. All sources must be connected to the TV, and then a single connection (via the HDMI or optical cable) must be made from the TV to the soundbar.

Yes.

Yes. You can cast audio content to your group of Bose smart speakers or soundbars through the Bose Music app or on the products themselves. Start by creating a group in the Bose Music app and casting to that group, or by pressing and holding the Action button on the connecting device to pair them into a group that’s playing a cast stream. Group your ground floor speakers, or all the speakers in the house and get the party started.
